Travel agencies and elephant tourism

Even today, many travel agents sell unethical animal activities to holiday-makers. Because people trust the agencies they book with, they don't always know they're often contributing to an animal's suffering.

Those who are members of The Association of British Travel Agencies (ABTA) are expected to follow ABTA's recommended animal welfare guidelines.

However, some of the agencies have been exposed as not following the guidelines and continue to promote unethical animal experiences.

Audley Travel has been recognised as one of the only travel agencies following strict ABTA guidelines.

Below are details of companies that do not promote animal tourism and others who are committed to phasing out the sale of unethical practices such as elephant rides.
