Meet The Team
Trustee & Co founder
Passionate and dedicated to animals, Jade spent six months as an intern on the GVI Elephant Reintroduction Project in Huay Pakoot, Thailand.
Since returning to the UK Jade decided there was no other career for her than conservation!
To gain more experience and help protect wildlife Jade has since worked as staff on GVI's Turtle Conservation project in Greece, volunteered at a Wildlife Park as a Conservation Assistant and also has spent 4 months in South Africa learning how to best conserve both terrestrial and marine wildlife. Most recently Jade has worked at Kindred Spirit Elephant Sanctuary (KSES) for 1 month over the summer of 2017 and is returning to KSES in August 2018 to work for 1 year as a staff member.
She has just finished studying a 2 year foundation degree in Ecology and Conservation in Newquay, Cornwall where she has also spent a lot of time getting involved with local volunteer and action groups: these projects focus on reptiles and amphibians, invasive species and pond restoration. She is taking a year out to work at Kindred Spirit Elephant Sanctuary before doing her last year at university. She studied to gain the qualifications needed to pursue her career in conservation. She's become fanatic about birding, recording and observing wildlife.
Jade likes to 'let it all go' by....
Hula Hooping away to her favourite tunes.
